Refund Policy

Servers are prepaid, so this is short. There is a real money-back window on a box you have not used. After that, refunds are discretionary.

Effective 31 July 2026 Version 1.0 Part of the Terms of Service

1The 24-hour window

Full refund

A server less than 24 hours old that you have not used — never logged into, never rebooted, never rebuilt — qualifies for a full refund, no questions asked. Open a ticket within that window and we will process it.

This exists so that buying the wrong tier, the wrong operating system, or the wrong line is not an expensive mistake. It is not a free trial: if you have logged in and run something, the box has been used and the window does not apply.

We determine use from provisioning and access records. A box that shows a login, a reboot, a rebuild, or meaningful network transfer has been used.

2After 24 hours

Prepaid terms are not refundable as of right once the window has passed. You bought a block of time and we reserved capacity for it.

That said, we would rather keep a customer than win an argument. If you cancel mid-term for a genuine reason, we may — at our sole discretion — issue account credit pro-rated for the unused whole months of your term. Credit does not expire and can be applied to any future service. We do not undertake to do this, and it is not a right you can enforce.

Discounts on longer terms are consideration for the commitment. If a discounted term is refunded or credited, we first recalculate what you would have paid at the undiscounted rate for the period you actually used, and the credit is the difference.

3What is never refunded

  • Services terminated for breach of the Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. No refund of any kind, including the unused portion of a prepaid term.
  • Accounts terminated after a chargeback. See Terms section 8.
  • One-time setup fees, including the dedicated bare-metal setup fee, once provisioning work has begun.
  • Services terminated for non-payment at the end of a term you already used.
  • Add-ons already consumed for the period in question.
  • Fees paid to a third party that we do not receive — for example blockchain network fees, or a payment processor's non-refundable fee.

4When we refund you

There are three situations where a refund is yours by right rather than by discretion:

  • We could not deliver. If we accept payment and cannot provision the service, you get a full refund.
  • We terminate you without cause. If we end a service on 30 days' notice under Terms section 7.3, we refund the unused portion of the prepaid term pro-rata.
  • We discontinue a beta product. Residential seats and other beta services can be withdrawn at any time; if that happens we refund the unused portion pro-rata.

In each case that refund is your sole and exclusive remedy.

6How to ask

  1. Open a support ticket from your dashboard, or ask in Discord, or email ben@blossomhost.us.
  2. Include the order or service ID and what went wrong.
  3. We aim to respond within 24 hours and to process an approved refund within 5 business days, plus whatever the payment provider takes.
Before you call your bank

Filing a chargeback without contacting us first is a material breach of the Terms. It terminates your account, destroys your data, triggers a $50 administrative fee, and permanently bars you from buying from us again. Every billing question is faster to fix by opening a ticket. See Terms section 8.
